March 2nd Saturday Opening

March 2nd Saturday opening was a huge success. Thaddeus' Conti's Coloring Book for the Criminally Insane was released for the first time to the public and it happened at 1239 Congress. There was packed house for the poetry readings. All artist made sales and good times were had.

Unfortunately the work from March has been taken down, but if there are any pieces that you are interested in from any of 1239 Congress' shows, send us a message and we can put you in touch with the artists. We just finalized the roster for April and begin installation soon, but more on that later...

Tascio & Conti performed some stellar readings with musical accompaniment.

One of the downsides to hosting during the SCAD 2nd Saturday Art Walk is that we miss out on some great work all over the neighborhood. This time we made sure to get out and check out what some of our neighbors were showcasing before it was too late.
