April 13th 2nd Saturday

This month's show featured artists Corinne Odermatt (a Switzerland-based artist), Kim Pterodactyl, Kate Campo, Megan Burns, Megan Methe and Catie Long. Although we were in competition with French Quarter Fest, the house was full by 8:30; just in time for a poetry reading by Megan Burns. Christian had to take a last minute trip to Atlanta this weekend, which left me fully in charge of the show. Although he was missed, I think I did an alright job in his absence. Judge for yourself:

Megan Burns is the publisher at Trembling Pillow Press and edits the poetry magazine Solid Quarter. She has been making dolls that incorporate poems and performing regularly since Dec/12. This is the first time the doll babies were assembled for an art show.
