Well we did a lot: our first New Orleans wedding, a Pretty Lights show, and our farewell party for Durado. It was fun, fun, and bitter sweet. Here's how it all went down...
On Friday night a friend from my school had her wedding at the Tree of Life in Audubon Park. It's this amazing, knobby old oak tree that's been there for hundreds of years; wonder all that it's seen. Oh, and the ceremony was conducted by their yogi, so there was lots of OHMing; that was cool and different. It made me think of all the amazing weddings we've been to the last few years. This was one of the best.

Saturday we went to the Pretty Lights show at Mardi Gras World with a big group to begin the Durado farewell. It was an awesome show and the biggest group we've traveled with in a long time.

Sunday am we went uptown for brunch at a friend's house. The brunch was in honor of my friend Sarah who was in town for Randi's wedding, but was heading back to Asheville Sunday night.

On Sunday night we had a farewell dinner for Durado, but that deserves it's own post. Here's a preview:
